Vintage Racing Support
I enjoy supporting good friends in their racing endeavors.
One such buddy races his 58ā Morgan Plus 4.
Most of my assistance is providing a sanity check on mechanical parts, fluids and occasionally wiring. I look forward to continuing to help when possible. Camping at Laguna Seca for the Rolex Reunion is always a great weekend. Hanging out in the hot pits before he hits the track and performing the ever important role of staring at the GoPro to ensure the light is blinkingā¦
The car is well sorted out and has a solid racing history. We maintain its fluids, ensuring it leaks just the right amount to keep its British heritage without causing a mess or failure.
Discussing how the torque spins the wheels...probably

Greg asked if I would take a look at the wiring in the Morgan.
Of course I said yes and took a weekend to work through the full wiring harness (carbureted race car with mostly mechanical gauges).
Added a handful of fuses under the dash and loomed up all visible wires to keep it clean and tidy.
Minimally invasive, but overall Iām happy with the cleaning.
