Monterey Car Week 2024
It was that time of year again. Time to see rich as people and peasants mixing it up around the lovely Monterey/Carmel/Seaside area. We were in the peasant category with our normal vehicles, maybe next year I’ll be a cool kid with the Ultima.
Huge thanks to Greg for yet again inviting me down to support his racing. It is always a great week at Laguna Seca, home of the famous Corkscrew or Co kscrew to frequent visitors.
Priority #1 - The racecar
Greg clearly enjoys being around the car, but really shines when it comes to the people. Whether its other Morgan crazies, friends or the next generation of petrol-head. Greg is excited for it.
These are just a handful of spots we caught him having a good time. Don’t mind the few of me fixing the wiring failure, pesky electrical engineer that upgraded his car clearly needed to do a better job. :-) Unfortunately a loose connection on the main power switch cost Greg the final race leading to a DNF. All the small screws on each switch now have a dab of blue Loctite.

Exotics A Car Week Staple
On Saturday, Colleen, Trisha and I made our way into Seaside to explore the drama that is Exotics on Broadway. Nothing really compares to the absurdity this has become. Tens of thousand of people wandering up and down a single street surrounding likely billions worth of the rarest cars on the planet. This year we noticed Christian von Koenigsegg coming with his basket of eggs.
