More Paint? But Why…

I’m not entirely sure what the is my point of repainting or spending time working on the details. None the less I am doing it and it is satisfying. Essentially polishing a turd. Who knows maybe it will be faster.

The real hope of its green transformation is merely spotting on track. Black cars are hard to find, somehow there are too many. Couple this with is being a BMW and you never can find it ever…Period.

Today I tackled a few goals:

• Replacing rear brake calipers (remanufactured set finally arrived)

• Painting lower accent trim and fender flares black

• Making the hood beautiful

In case you’re wondering the orange is from when the car received the badge. Long before we raced it.

Still just a bent af hood that cover a dirty engine. It should look a little nicer now and the flag towers will be able to call in our number clearly.
