Hub Stand Design - 4 lug
My first variation of this flat pack hub stand. The design is setup for a wheel diameter of 23" in line with my Miata. Larger wheel diameters or different ride heights can be accommodated with either some simple math, adjusting this design's height or blocks below the steel plate which the corners rest upon.
Machined from 1" plate 6061 aluminum.
Pockets at bottom are designed for press fit roller bearings. (HDBT-1-3/16 Drop in Heavy Duty Mounted Carbon Steel Ball Transfer, Stainless Steel, 1-3/16" Diameter, 500 lbs Load Capacity (Case of 4)). Two per corner for a total of 8. Providing 1000 lbs rated load per corner.
Supplied *.stl file is for a single corner. Replicate for a full set.
*Vertical slot is meant for a tubing to perform corner leveling with water. Smaller holes are sized to fit standard zip ties.
**Bottom pair of holes above bearings are or a toe bar, leverage a simple piece of angle aluminum with two holes. The holes in the stand are meant for M6 threads.
***Seemingly random hole near water level is for a camber gauge. Fits the bolt for a Longacre gauge, others may not fit. User can enlarge this to match their preferred angle measuring tool.
****Highly recommend using these on 12ga plate steel or thicker to prevent damage to your floor. The car will spin/roll smoothly and make alignments or ride height adjustments a breeze.
