Wire Extensions for 911TT

I’m slowly working through this final stage because it requires patience and focus. I have to keep plugging away with the re-wiring for cleanliness. Some days the motivation just isn’t there, but when I have a day off to work on things I try my best to make a bit of progress. I’ve been a bit distracted with another project to create a handheld flamethrower, but must work on 911!!

Ring Terminals for everyone!

I was running a bit low on terminals and needed some new ones. McMaster-Carr to the rescue with plenty of options. Now I should have enough to cover the 40+ power and ground wiring.

I was surprised to notice the proper wire strip measurements on the back of each package. A handy reference in case you haven’t used them hundreds/thousands of times!

Next steps were just repetitive, unmask my past temporary wiring, unbolt, extend with crimp connector, heat shrink, regroup and label. All with my final goal to wire loom them up nicely behind the ECU and keep everything presentable. Below are various pictures towards the end of my efforts for today.

See where I get tomorrow!
