Sweet new paint!

The E30 has seen better days and as part of my prep for LeMons glory a new coat of paint seemed fitting. Of course must keep the existing chalk board theme, but now they have colors???

Good bye black!

It served us well with many themes and many phallic illustrations.

The good side?

Not sure any part would be considered good, but this has less big dents…

Vegas Green!

Ready to roll the dice and bonus perk it matches our fuse panel securing methods.

No paint booth needed today

Proper application of Krylon Tintable Chalkboard Paint:

“Apply with a brush or a short-nap roller.”

Finished two solid coats around the body, still debating for top color versus staying with black. Coverage is great and goes on quick. We have proven it to be quite durable even when trading paint on track.

Sorry Cam and Xin…. Hope you like green!

Also always nice to find your last check list and it be almost completely done. Guess I need to redo the grill mesh… I think it has a hole somewhere. Probably just going to #sendit.

Almost ready to race. Just need a few more parts and renewed safety gear. See everyone soon at Sonoma!
